About my Supervision

When providing Supervision I draw on experience in congregational, regional and national roles. I am a Uniting Church Minister and I also serve as a chaplain with the NSW Disaster Recovery Network.

I am open to providing Supervision to people outside Australia if we can make the time Zones work.

My ministry background means that I understand the different contexts and challenges in which people exercise ministry. I supervise many church leaders. They need someone who understands their unique context and who is outside their denomination. I have extensive experience with people from other denominations and cultures.

Since 2015 I have been providing pastoral, sometimes called professional, Supervision for Ministers and lay leaders. They come from a variety of denominations. It has been a privilege and a joy to support people through the good times and the challenging times.

I am a Supervisor Member of the Australasian Association of Supervision and a Supervisor Member of Chaplaincy Australia.

In addition to providing Supervision I am:

+ a nationally accredited mediator (NMAS) and run a mediation practice on the Far South Coast of NSW, including workplace mediation and family dispute resolution – www.winwinmediation.com.au.

+ a published author on consensus based discernment – The Church Guide for Making Decisions Together (Abingdon, 2017) and www.makingchurchdecisions.com.

+ a consultant and advisor on governance for church based agencies and services – www.faithbasedboards.com

I hope that you will find this broad background something that encourages you to see a breadth of experience that I can bring to your Supervision.

I conduct Supervision by Zoom or in person when it is possible.
