Resources About Supervision

Many churches understand the importance of Professional or Pastoral Supervision. However, it is still new to many Priests and Ministers. People often think of it as having someone watching over their shoulder to tell them what to do. This is not the case for Pastoral Supervision.

Supervision in this context is about encouraging Ministers, Priests, Chaplains, etc to become self reflective practitioners. The goal is to build your capacity by increasing self awareness, affirming your personal resources and by offering a variety of ways through which you can address the issues that you face in Ministry.

Here are some links to resources that can grow your understanding of what Supervision is and what is appropriate for a Supervision session.
